Balsam Fir Balance Spell - By Firewolf
During these busy and sometimes hectic months, it is good to
find time for a moment for rest and harmony. The following spell is a simple way to attract well-needed tranquility
during the holiday season. For this
spell you will need the following ingredients,
balsam fir essential oil
charcoal briquette
fireproof dish or bowl
glass bowl
one light green
one teaspoon frankincense
one teaspoon myrrh
three teaspoons fir leaves
It is recommended to conduct this spell on a Monday during the waxing or
full moon. Balsam Fir Essential Oil can be purchased at your local organic
supermarket or metaphysical store. Gather the ingredients of this spell in a
quiet place where you will be undisturbed. Place the candle in the center of
your magickal altar or working space. In the glass bowl blend together the dry herbal ingredients.
Add nine drops of the balsam fir oil to this blend and mix thoroughly. Anoint
the candle with a few drops of the balsam fir oil. As you anoint the candle,
visualize yourself in balance, see yourself relaxed and absorbing white light. Light the candle and state out loud a prayer or incantation directed towards
attracting balance and harmony. You may also state the following incantation,
three times,
“Balance and Harmony fill my life, surround me with a
tranquil light. Keep away all stress,
troubles, and strife, heed this charm I speak tonight. So mote it be.”
Add a pinch of the herbal blend onto the charcoal briquette.
Walk around your home three times, allowing the herbs to fumigate each
room. As you walk around each room,
state out loud a prayer or incantation directed towards protecting your home
from negativity and allowing only tranquil energies to flow within. You may also state the following incantation,
“Good spirits, I welcome you here to play and delight. I allow only good and positive energies that
are correct and right. Keep
tranquility, keep balance and keep respect.
This spell of good magick to the Universe I do direct. A charm of peace, love and light, a
projection of magick good and right. So mote it be.”
When you are finished be sure to allow the candle to burn
out completely. Carry a pinch or two of
the dried balsam fir in your left pocket for luck and good fortune.
