Golden Acorn Prosperity Spell - By Firewolf

In ancient Greece, the oak tree was sacred to Zeus, the King of the Olympian Gods. The Acorn was considered a symbol of Divine Wisdom, Strength, and Mighty Protection. At the oracle of Dodona, priests and priestesses often interpreted the rustling of oak leaves as a message or omen delivered from Zeus himself. Acorns are associated with abundance and nourishment and were one of the earliest staple foods before the cultivation of grain. Carrying acorns or oak leaves as an amulet is believed to attract the divine favor of Zeus, bringing protection against lightning, storms, and misfortune.

In ancient Italy, the oak and its acorns were held sacred to Jupiter (the Roman counterpart of Zeus), symbolizing Divine Power, Prosperity, and Victory. Oak groves were revered as sacred and holy places among early Italic Tribes  - acorns and oak branches were often given as an offering in ancient rites dedicated to Jupiter. Prior to the cultivation of grain, acorns were a vital food source in pre-Roman Italy. Acorns were ground into flour for bread or porridge giving the acorn an enduring association with sustenance and survival. In ancient Roman history, the Acorn was attributed with strength during battle, many generals often adorned themselves in crowns of Oak Leaves. In the domestic cults of ancient Rome, Acorns were a symbol of fertility and abundance. In many European traditions, carrying an acorn in the pocket was also thought to prevent aging and to preserve youth.

In Witchcraft and Magickal Practices the Acorn represent beginnings, hidden potential, and the promise of future strength. Acorns are common amulets carried to bring protection against malevolent forces, to manifest abundance and prosperity, to promote both physical and spiritual fertility, and to enhance personal wisdom. The Acorn and Oak are ruled by the Planets Jupiter and the Sun and associated with the Elements Earth and Air.

Golden Acorn Prosperity Spell

Ingredients:
Acorns (preferably an odd number: 3, 5, or 7)
Gold Paint and a Paint Brush
One Gold Candle
One Bottle of Money Drawing Oil

To begin, wash and dry the acorns so they’re clean of dirt or particles. Paint each Acorn Gold, coating each one carefully and evenly. As you paint each acorn, chant the following incantation,

"Seed of fortune, adorned in gold, grow my wealth, may riches unfold."

Set the Acorns aside and allow them to dry completely. Anoint the Gold Candle with a few drops of the Money Drawing Oil - being sure to coat the candle from the base upward toward the wick. As you anoint the Candle, focus on your intention or visualize the abundance you wish to manifest. As you do so whisper into the candle the following,

"By flame of gold, by oil divine, may wealth and fortune now be mine."

When the Acorns are completely dry gather the ingredients to your kitchen table or magickal altar - during a time when you will not be disturbed. Place the candle in the center of your working space. Arrange the gold-painted acorns in a circle around the candle’s base. When you are ready to begin, light the candle. Spend a few moments and direct your attention to the candle’s flame. Visualize streams of golden light flowing into your wallet, your home, and your bank account. When the image is clear in your mind’s eye, state out loud the following incantation seven times,

"Golden flame, golden seed, bring me all the wealth I need."

Allow the candle to burn out completely. Keep the painted Acorns near where you store money, such as by a wallet, cash box, altar, or even buried in a plant pot indoors. You may also carry the Acorns tucked in a Cloth Bag to attract abundance and prosperity wherever you may go.
